In the course of the work I've done, I've compiled a synopsis I've entitled "Learning Disabilities: Signs, Symptoms and Strategies."  The information has been gathered from reputable sites on the web (all sources cited) and includes the following areas of disability: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, sensory integration, auditory processing, visual perceptive/motor, and nonverbal learning disorder.  In addition, it includes information on AD(H)D, Asperger's syndrome, and autism.

Too often, we look at the accomodations being requested in isolation.... and feel overwhelmed by the requests being made.  This synopsis shows that an accomodation implemented to aid a student with one type of disability may also aid students who have difficulties in other areas.  I've designed a handout to be used in identifying areas of overlapping accommodations.
